Welcome to the “Understanding terrorism” class blog. Hope you find it a useful tool. As I have mentioned in the email I sent around to all of you, a blog is a very valuable and practical tool to expand our class. I will be adding links, suggesting additional (i.e. non-required) readings, posting the occasional thought or anecdote, and asking for your input. I hope you help me make this class more interactive, and more interesting this way.

i have a book recommendation. some of you might know it, it’s from the bundeszentrale für politische bildung and it’s in german! the title is “was terroristen wollen”, written by louise richardson. costs are four euros, a schnäppchen!

the book is quite easy to read and contains many aspects.
